Description:

*Provide free and confidential tutoring on an individual basis, to anyone age 16 and older wishing to learn how to read and write or study for the GED.
*Volunteer tutors meet with interested students for an average of 1-1.5 hrs per week and tutoring may take place at any of the library branches, or other agreed upon public places.
*Tutoring in English as a second language (ESL) is available through small practice groups
*Family Literacy Program at Dr B L Perry Branch for parents and children, offering after school tutoring for children grades K-12, parenting workshops, and family activities
