*Distance education school that offers more than 100 free courses in a variety of media formats: braille, large print, audio, and online, according to student's needs
*Four program areas: high school, family education, adult continuing education and Hadley Institute for Professional Studies for professionals and paraprofessionals in the visually impaired field
*Workshops and Audio Podcasts available to learn about things including but not limited to daily living aids, adjusting to vision loss, recreation, technology, braille, and working
*Discussion groups meet monthly for tips and information about various interests including technology, books, writing, gardening, cooking, embracing braille, staying active, traveling, crafts, and resources; visit website for meeting dates and times
*One of the largest educators of braille
