Description:
*Mental health service, training, and research center operated by the Department of Psychology at Florida State University; Services are provided by doctoral level student therapists in the Clinical Psychology PhD program under the close supervision of faculty members
*Regardless of affiliation with the univeristy, adults, adolescents, and children are eligible to receive psychological testing, assessment services, and individual theapy for issues like depression, anxiety, eating disorders, stress, child behavior problems; group therapy via telementalhealth for parenting, fears, trauma, dialectical behavioral therapy skills (DBT), hoarding and substance abuse
*Sliding fee scale based on family income and number of family members supported by that income; no insurance accepted; hourly therapy rates range from $20-$60 per hour, group therapy is provided for $8 per group session
*Assessment fees: Educational Evaluations (e.g., Learning Disability and ADHD) $400, Gifted Evaluations $160, Diagnostic Evaluations $135; Screening Assessment fee $25
*Does not offer emergency/walk-in service, does not manage medications, no couples or family therapy
