Description:
*Up to four-week residential summer prevention/intervention program for black males, grades 7-12, identified as "at-risk" or economically disadvantaged
*Aims at increasing educational achievements, facilitating college entry, reducing delinquency, and increasing competency in test taking
*Classes: mathematics, algebra, computer science, reading, English, science, African American studies, business, professional and personal development
*Comprehensive mentoring provided along with academic instruction
*Program dates are almost always first week in June through the last week in June
*Will accept youth from anywhere in Florida and other states although space is limited
