*Free Narcan Kits containing two bottles of Narcan nasal spray of the drug Naloxone, instructions on use, and a list of signs of overdoses available at no charge with no questions asked to anyone with a goal to assist individuals in their recovery efforts and to keep them as safe as possible as they are working towards treatment
*Naloxone only works on overdoses caused by opioids including prescription painkillers like OxyContin, Fentanyl, Methadone, and Vicodin, as well as street drugs like heroin; Naloxone will not reverse overdose resulting from non-opioid drugs, like cocaine, benzodiazepines (benzos), or alcohol
*Available in the DISC Village outpatient office lobbies throughout the Big Bend region: https://discvillage.org/narcan.php
