*Support group for anyone with any type of mood disorder, as well as friends and family (ADULTS ONLY, NO CHILDCARE AVAILABLE)
*Meets in the cafeteria of TMH, Behavioral Health Center every M, 7-8:30pm, except when a holiday falls on a Monday
*Group offers: 1) opportunity to learn and benefit from experiences of persons who have "been there",
2) motivation to follow treatment plan, 3) help with understanding that a mood disorder does not define a person, 4) rediscovering strengths and humor, 5) a forum for mutual acceptance, understanding, and self-
discovery
*Meeting agenda: 1st Monday: Rap Group- 2 groups, over 30 and under 30, 2nd Monday: Tools for Recovery- a peer-to-peer educational night, 3rd Monday: Rap Group, 4th Monday: Speaker, if not, Rap Group, 5th
Monday: Fun Night- socializing night in order to get to know one another
*Meetings held at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Behavioral Health Center in the cafeteria, 1616 Physicians Drive (two blocks behind Tallahassee Memorial Hospital); when arriving, participants should pick up the phone to be buzzed into building
