Description:

*Provides assistance for children, families, and youth serving organizations; programs include foster care, therapeutic foster care, independent living for at risk teens, respite program for parents, Daniel Academy for children K-8 with learning disabilities or emotional issues, and the Florida Adoption Information Center
*Statewide In-Patient Psychiatric program (SIPP) provides children exhibiting the most severe symptoms of mental and emotional distress with intensive residential treatment over four- to six-month periods; Children must be recommended for inpatient treatment by a Florida licensed psychiatrist or psychologist. Each child must be approved by their insurance for residential treatment; Daniel accepts CMS Title 19 and 21 insurance as well as Medicaid; offers a sliding scale based on income and family size; no one will be refused for inablity to pay
*Journey to Success is a family centered program for vulnerable teens combining individual, group, and family counseling; Duval County residents, ages 10-17, that have a previously been arrested, Students must reside in the following zip codes- 32202, 32205, 32206, 32208, 32209, 32210, 32211, 32218, 32244, 32254
*Outpatient Mental Health program provides services to children through traditional outpatient counseling, or in-home/in-school counseling services; offers Mental Health Outpatient, Substance Abuse Outpatient, Phoenix Substance Abuse Group, SOAR , Psychiatric and Medication Management; children must be under the age of 17, Reside in North Florida within Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau, Flagler, St. Johns or Volusia Counties, exhibit symptoms of emotional or behavioral distress resulting in significant impairments in school, family, or interpersonal relationships, financial assistance available through Florida Medicaid.
*School-Based Behavioral Services works with United Way Full Service Schools to help children with behavioral issues; eligible students must be a K through 12 student, reside in the Fletcher, James Weldon Johnson, or Greater Springfield School districts, be experiencing social or behavioral issues that are interfering with their academic performance
*Wraparound Service is a family-driven, team-based process for planning and implementing services and supports for youth with complex needs with a coordinator will work closely with the family; eligible children must be between the ages of 5 and 17, reside in North Florida within Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau, Flagler, Johns or Volusia Counties, exhibit symptoms of emotional or behavioral distress resulting in significant impairments in school, family, or interpersonal relationships; financial assistance is available through Florida Medicaid
