*Program is only for families or individuals who have an Eviction Notice and regular income *Assists qualifying families and individuals in all eight counties of the Big Bend area with past due rent and utilities *Eligibility: 1) Must have past due rent and eviction notice 2) Must have regular source of income to be able to pay monthly rent in future (can include disability income and other benefits such as food stamps) 3) Cannot have received homeless prevention funds in the past 4) Highly preferable to get a referral through a homelessness service provider (examples: Kearney Center, Community Action Agency, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, etc); if the person is not currently receiving services through a homelessness service provider s/he can call Big Bend Homeless Coalition directly
