*Annual free Thanksgiving Meal at the American Legion Post 13 at 229 Lake Ella Drive, 32303, 11am - 1pm, on Thanksgiving Day for people who are alone or have no one with whom to share the holiday including homeless persons, older adults, families in need, college students, members of law enforcement, others who work on Thanksgiving Day or are away from families; no one will be turned away *Guests receive a traditional Thanksgiving meal, entertainment (a band), and free long distance phone service to speak to loved ones *Round trip free Star Metro bus transportation will be provided from and back to: The Kearney Center, Hope Community, Westgate, Home Front, Hayden Arms and Tallahassee Veteran's Village, Balkan Road; additional stops can be added for groups of 15 or more; wheelchair and bicycle transport available *Volunteers needed for food prep, cooking, serving, set-up, clean-up, transport of food, transport of individuals, etc.
