FSU, Speech and Hearing Clinic
*Diagnostic-evaluation and management services by speech-language pathologists and audiologists; services are provided by graduate students under the direct supervision of faculty members and clinical instructors, all professional staff members are licensed by the Florida Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association
*Serves children and adults with speech, language, and hearing problems
*Evaluation and therapy are available for articulation disorders, language delay, language learning disorders, stuttering, language differences due to region, ethnic origin, or second language, memory and language disorders related to trauma, voice disorders, disorders of speech and language due to neurological damage or disease, augmentative and alternative communication disorders, rehabilitation after a laryngectomy, hearing testing, hearing aid testing and fitting, habilitation and rehabilitation of hearing impaired
*Assistive Communication Lab focuses on meeting augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs of people with severe communication disorders, the lab assists individuals with severe communication disorders including those related to cerebral palsy, mental retardation, autism, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or neuromuscular disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy
