*** ONLY A LANDLORD CAN APPLY FOR THIS PROGRAM IN ORDER TO ASSIST A TENANT ***
*Program for landlords to recover lost rent and aid tenants who owe past due rent or who are ending homelessness
*Landlords may apply if a current tenant has been financially impacted by COVID-19, was previously homeless, or is facing eviction
*Landlords with vacant units are also encouraged to apply to partner in housing vulnerable tenants
*For eligibility, landlords must be private individuals with 5 or less properties in the city of Tallahassee
*Real estate companies, non-profits and housing authorities are not eligible
*Fund is NOT a recurring rent assistance program, or meant to replace traditional security deposits, or not to be used for a landlord's private insurance
*Offers up to $2,000 to cover a portion of lost rent from a current tenant in crisis, $1,000 to cover damages beyond normal wear and tear, or for unforeseen expenses to maintain safe housing, and a $500 one-time bonus for each unit newly leased to someone ending their homelessness
