*Humane services for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife with the goal of returning each into its natural habitat
*Primarily serves Leon and Gadsden Counties, will sometimes take drop off animals from other locations
*When first found, call St Francis to determine if the animal truly needs to be rescued or left alone
*Web-site provides information on handling sick or injured animals; if rescuing/dropping off animal, please put it in a box with air holes, and lined with an old t-shirt
*Wild animals or wild birds can be taken to Northwood Animal Hospital anytime 24 hours a day, located at 1881 N Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd; or bring to St. Francis Wildlife Center, 4 miles NW of Havana at 5580 Salem Rd, 32352; or Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital, open 24/7, located at 2324 Centerville Rd, 32308
*Please call for assistance before dropping off wild animals
*Call main number 8:30am-5pm, M-F, or after-hours number at any other time
*Training programs available for persons wanting to volunteer
*Educational programs offered upon request
