*Only for registered FAMU students who have paid their semester health fee: physical examinations, medications, birth control services, pregnancy testing, confidential HIV/STD screening and counseling, and pharmacy access providing discount prescription and over the counter medications
*Students are charged a health fee along with tuition which covers services unless they provide proof of insurance; charges for services not covered by the student health fee (including; labs, X-rays, EKGs, medications, immunizations, procedures, medical supplies) are discounted and are lower than the cost of care from most community providers; charges for services will be placed on the studentâs financial account and must be paid prior to registration for the following semester
*Clinic visits for immunizations, illness and injury are available on a walk-in basis; appointments are required for other services
*Staffed by Florida licensed physicians, advanced nurse practitioners along with other support staff
*Other services: testing and counseling for diabetes, hypertension, and stress management
*Does NOT provide dental care, major surgery, treatment of serious illnesses, prenatal care or hospitalization
*Food Pantry available to students during regular clinic hours, open Thursdays for general public
