FSU, Multidisciplinary Evaluation and Consulting Center
*FSU Multidisciplinary Evaluation and Consulting Center (MDC) currently acception new patients; facility supervises interns, students, and doctoral candidates; provides evaluation, consultation, and behavioral health service to pre-school and school-aged children who are experiencing severe and/or complex academic, medical, behavioral/emotional problems; The MDC has four licensed psychologists on staff as well as several interns/students in training that provide assessments and limited treatment
*Children are referred by twenty school districts in the Florida Panhandle, Children's Medical Services, and other agencies; call for services without official referral must be under 18 and in school
*Services include Family Therapy, Marital/Couples Therapy, Individual Therapy, and offering Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) on a limited basis for parents and families of children with Autism and ADHD; Diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic recommendation offered
*Fees $750-$900 for a psychoeducational assessment,no insurance will cover; ADHD, Autism assessments - covered by CHP (Regular Co-Pay) w/o insurance $850-1000; if referred by any county except Leon the school will cover the payment
*Facility is accessible and can be reached by public transportation
Services: Autism Therapy, Conjoint Counseling, Early Intervention for Children With Disabilities/Delays, Educational Testing, Family Counseling, Marriage Counseling, Pediatric Developmental Assessment
