*Animal therapy visits are done by a team of one handler (usually the pet owner) and one pet to help calm and motivate patients and engage otherwise unresponsive persons; interact with diverse clients to provide improved mental health, motivation, recreation, education, rehabilitation, pain management, senior services, courthouse theapy, Reading Education Assistance Dogs (READ) and other therapeutic services
*Handler/animal teams visit long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, day care centers for adults with limited abilities, public schools, hospices, libraries, bookstores, courthouses, and disaster survivors
