*Statewide program of financial assistance for current National Guard members only
*Assistance awarded for emergency situations only and determined on a case by case basis
*Situation must strictly meet criteria of an emergency through no fault of applicant, examples include: natural or man-made disaster, accident, illness or injury
*Assistance is provided to help with basic living essentials, housing, utilities, child care, food, gas, vehicle repairs, medical/dental care, prescriptions, etc.
*Applications must be submitted by the service member!s Family Assistance Coordinator (FAC)/Family Readiness Coordinator (FRC). Service members should contact their unit to find their respective FAC/FRC.
*Limited scholarships for children of current or past Florida National Guard members; students must be in good standing at an accredited college, university or vocational technical school in the state of Florida or graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to same
*Applications and instructions for both financial assistance and scholarships may be found on the website or by contacting FAC/RAC at unit
