Description:

*Assists transitioning service members with understanding the requirements and options necessary to become teachers
*Assists program participants with finding employment as a teacher when eligible
*Provides a career transition plan, a step-by-step process for entering the teaching profession in Florida
*Active duty and veterans with an Honorable Discharge and their spouses qualify for a waiver of certification application and certification exam fees
*Veterans with an Honorable Discharge can qualify for a $4,000 sign on bonus if committed to teach for two years, and an additional $1,000 if they teach a high demand subject
*Veterans without a bachelor!€™s degree may be eligible to qualify for a teaching certificate
