This is an effort to supplement the limited funds the agency has. There are no special procedures for callers. Persons wanting to donate may either call or use the website.

*Services are for residents of Leon, Gadsden, Madison, Jefferson and Taylor Counties
*Staff are working remotely most of the time
*AS LONG AS FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE, may be able to assist qualifying persons with past due rent, utilities and in some cases (for homeless persons) deposits for rent and utilities
*Persons may call at any time during business hours, however it is preferable to call Monday or Tuesdays. Callers will initially get a recording which will direct them to choose the option most applicable to their situation

Possible assistance is divided into 3 categories:
1. Families with children 17 and younger in the home who are sustainable (meaning that they must have regular income/resources to pay future rent, utilities and and all other monthly bills once past due rent and/or utilities have been paid)
2. Services for currently homeless persons who also must be sustainable: provides first and last month!€™s rent and past due utility assistance in order to move in and have utilities turned on
3. Persons with or without children in the home who have lost income due to COVID-19 and are not currently sustainable: may be eligible for rent and/or utility assistance. Persons in this category will be directed to call on MONDAYS, 9am-10am only.

*Food pantry hours are now 2:30pm-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Clients are eligible for food assistance once every 2 months.
*Clothes closet and diapers are no longer available at this time.
