1/05/22: *COVID-19 UPDATE: Office closed to the public; providing assistance either over the phone or via email to intake-referral@tallahasseebar.org *EVICTIONS: The Legal Aid Foundation is referring eviction cases to *Legal Services of North Florida* to provide legal assistance for eligible individuals. *Services are for persons with a Leon County civil court case (do not have to live in Leon County) *Pro Se program (self-representation without a lawyer): offers assistance with family law programs by appointment only, cost range is $65-$95; plus client must pay for any filing fees *Pro Bono program (free legal services of a lawyer, but client must pay any filing fees): for civil cases such as family law issues, divorce and alimony, child support modification, custody, paternity, adoption, guardianship, bankruptcy, landlord/tenant issues, employment issues, discrimination, property disputes, wills, money disputes over purchases; clients must be at 125% of federal poverty level or below *Volunteer attorneys; many are members of Tallahassee Bar Association (TBA) and all are members of the Florida Bar
