*Charity of volunteers which accepts donated phones, repairs, and re-programs them for emergency-only 911 calls
*Phones are then given to police departments, sheriff's offices, domestic violence shelters, neighborhood watch groups, and senior citizens centers which have applied for them and will distribute them for persons in need
*Program is national; call to find closest drop-off site, or where to apply for a phone
*For cities without a drop-off site, phones can be mailed
*A free donor barrel can be sent to a host business, library, supermarket or other high traffic place for collection for four weeks, then returned in the same box it was sent in
