*Juvenile Civil Citation Program: Diversion of first time juvenile misdemeanor offenders from Juvenile Justice system through early intervention; Successful completion of requirements such as community service, drug screening, apology letters determines no record of arrest; Eligibility based on current offenses, prior delinquency history, law enforcement discretion, and willingness of youth and parent/guardian to participate, Referrals made through legal system or self/parent referral
*Juvenile Drug Court: Intensive outpatient treatment for 20 week minimum for adolescents who have been arrested with substance misuse and/or mental health issues; individual, group and family counseling, chemical education classes, community involvement, drug testing; referrals made through legal and other sources
*Both programs not available in every county; call for information
