*Provides curb-side transportation for persons with disabilities within the city of Tallahassee *Provides transportation to any older adult (60 or older) weekdays between 6AM-6:30PM to any city location *A certification package must be completed by all riders to become eligible; certification forms may be obtained by calling the office or by downloading the forms from the website or by applying on line; once the office receives the completed application, it can take 5-10 business days for processing *Elderly riders who qualify may become certified as disabled themselves, avoiding refusal of transportation when disabled rider is given priority provided by law *Reservations can be made by calling as early as 2 weeks in advance, but must be made by 2PM one business day in advance at the latest *Riders may be accompanied by a certified personal care attendant; children or infants needing car seat occupy a seat and are charged; any other companion rider will have to pay and will be able to ride only if space is available *More information and scheduling is available on line at www.talgov.com/starmetro in the Dial-A-Ride section
