*Support for victims of crime or witnesses of crime providing support of and advocacy for victims; status of court cases and explanation of legal system; assistance with filing for victim compensation benefits; referral to other agencies as needed; crisis intervention, and bereavement counseling for victims of violent crimes: rape, child abuse, domestic violence, surviving family members of homicide, DUI crash victims and other violent crime victims; court preparation and accompaniment
