*Provides Lodging, meals and laundry facilities for families of children age 24 and under being treated in Tallahassee area medical facilities on a first come, first stay basis; suggested nightly fee of $10 if affordable, but family member(s) can do chores in lieu of payment
*Referral from patient's doctor, nurse or social worker needed; background check required on all adults before being allowed to stay
*Contributions and volunteers appreciated and welcome

Intake Process:

Families of children (24 years of age and under) from outside Leon County being treated in area hospitals and medical facilities

Program Fees:

$10 nightly donation suggested, guest are asked to do small chores around the house: sweeping, wiping counters, taking out trash

Eligibility:

Before a family can check-in at the Ronald McDonald House, a referral must be given by the patient!€™s doctor, nurse, or social worker. They may call the House directly at (850) 222-1706. Occupancy is on a first come, first served basis. No advance reservations are accepted, although a room will be held until 6:00pm on the day it is requested. If there are no rooms available, the family!€™s name will be placed on the waiting list.
