Description:

*Provides educational programming and support services to hearing impaired students in Leon, Gadsden, Madison, Wakulla, Jefferson, and Taylor counties
*Continuum of services is provided, depending on individual needs, extending from full-time placement in a special class for hearing impaired students to full-time placement in a mainstream class with consultation
*Special assistance may be provided by a teacher certified in Hearing Disabilities, an audiologist, a speech language pathologist, an interpreter, a note taker, or by the fitting of amplification equipment
