Description:
*24 bed psychiatric inpatient unit for adults age 18 and over; voluntary and involuntary, (can be a Baker Act receiving facility)
*Evaluation services does assessment through the emergency room, and admits patients when needed, or referrals from other hospitals
*Inpatient services include: individual and group therapy, medication assessment and monitoring, 24-hour nursing care, social services, case management, family intervention, optional pet therapy, follow-up services upon discharge
*Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) also available if indicated
*Variable length of stay according to individual needs
Intake Process:
Call, transfer in, come to the Emergency Room for evaluation
Program Fees:
Accepts most major insurance, Medicaid, Medicare
Languages:
English, interpreters can be arranged for any language
