*Organizations displaying black and yellow "Safe Place" sign have staff who have received training to assist troubled youth or runaways
*Staff are prepared to contact Capital City Youth Services or other organizations as needed and provide a safe place for children and adolescents to wait until other services can be arranged
*Transportation to Capital City Youth Services shelter is available from any Safe Place site
*If youth is a runaway, parents will be notified
*Safe Place Sites in Leon County: Capital City Youth Services; Tallahassee Fire Departments (14 locations); Tallahassee Parks and Recreation Community Centers (6 locations); Tallahassee Police Department; Leon County Sheriff's Department; Star Metro Buses; The Florida State Capitol Building (The Capitol Police); Department of Juvenile Justice Headquarters; Department of Transportation; The Florida Network of Youth and Family Services; FDLE; Capital Health Plan and Starbucks (3 locations)
