*Peer-run community meeting place for anyone experiencing or affected by someone who has mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring challenges *Services are can be one-on-one or in a group setting and include Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) which is a self-care plan, which includes how to deal with crisis; peer support, employment assistance, recreational activities, skill building, and links to local support services *No referrals needed; no fees; ANYONE can just 'drop-in'

Apalachee Center, Forensic and Civil Residential Treatment Services

*Forensic Residential Services in four locations in Leon and Gadsden Counties serve individuals who have been conditionally realsed into the community under Florida Statute 916 *Residents formerly in state facilities receiving psychiatric and/or psychological treatment under court orders are assisted to reintegrate into the community; offers Psychiatric Services, psychological evaluations, nursing services, case management, group and individual therapy; liaison with the courts; designed to help individuals learn skills to successfully re-integrate into the community, or a less restrictive environment then state treatment facilities; learn skills to help residents be successful in their living environment and to successfully complete any judicial requirements *To be eligible residents must be mentally ill conditionally relased (NGI or ITP status) who are 18 or older, ambulatory or able to self transfer and free of major medical contitions requiring ongoing nursing care, able to be an active particiapant in treatment, able to manage ADLs, free of any charge involving a sexual office, and non-violent charges only for jail-diversion programs *Referrals acceepted from Judicial Circuit Courts, state forensic Mental Health treatment facilities, and state civil mental health treatment facilities *Transition Home: unlocked facility in Leon serving males and females for short-term residential treatment for persons needing step-down program treatment, providing psychiatric treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, nursing and case management *Satellite apartments (8 shared by 2 people) in Tallahassee: residences for clients many of whom attend school or work, supportive environment to enhance independent living skills particularly in the area of housekeeping, medication management, budgeting, cooking, community access and recovery; mental health services provide by Leon County Outpatient Services

Apalachee Center, NAVIGATE Program

*Comprehensive outpatient treatment program for Leon County residents 18 to 40 years-old assisting persons following their first psychotic episode or in their first year of diagnosis and their families to successfully find their way to psychological well-being, and to access the services they need in the mental health system * Team-based approach including a Program Director, an APRN prescriber, an Individual Resiliency Trainer (IRT), Family Education (FE) Clinician, a Case Manager, a Supported Employment and Education (SEE) Specialist, and a Peer Support Specialist *Provides direct coordination of all medical care, help managing symptoms of illness, immediate crisis response as needed, prescribes and manages medications offers therapy, and as the patient is ready can help obtaining financial entitlements and housing; assistance with housing tasks so a person can live in regular housing alone or with a roommate; learning how to socialize; treatment for clients with co-existing substance abuse (dual diagnosis); employment service and job placement; assistance with legal issues; support, education, and skill-teaching for family members; offsite (in-home) and online (telemental health) meetings available depending on patient's circumstances *Fees based on the needs of the patient; accepts most insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and offers an income-based sliding scale; fees for medication management may be ongoing

FSU Counseling & Psychological Services

*Short-term outpatient mental health counseling to currently enrolled FSU students including individual, group, and couples counseling, crisis intervention, substance abuse evaluation and counseling, eating disorder treatment offered face-to-face, by phone, and telemental health online via Zoom *Services covered by student fees, no out-of-pocket expenses; enrolled FSU students may include a partner or spouse for couples counseling as long as one person is an FSU student *Services are performed by licensed psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, treatment coordinators and a mental health education coordinator supervising doctoral, masters, and practicum interns; Persons wishing to see a licensed therapist should request one; Referrals to other mental health professionals when needed *Daily psychoeducation workshops focusing on anxiety and depression available via Zoom *For a mental health crisis, the number is available for FSU students after hours and weekends; callers should leave a message and a counselor will return their call

LOSSteam of the Big Bend

THIS IS NOT A HOTLINE FOR THOSE FEELING SUICIDAL: PLEASE CALL 988 *LOSS: Local Outreach to those who have lost a a loved one to suicide; a two-person team of trained suicide loss survivors and mental health professionals serving as volunteers to be a resource of support, help and hope to bereaved survivors no matter how long ago the sucicide occured; can be contacted 24/7 by phone or by text at 741741for supportive services immediately and then for as long as needed to decrease their risk of suicide, strengthen mental health and help cope with grief; the LOSS Team will travel to see the bereaved person face to face, or provide assistance over the phone, and also provides a monthly support group *Collaborative effort of NAMI-Tallahassee, law enforcement agencies, and community partners including providing packets to victim advocates for Leon County Sheriff's office and Tallahassee Police Department with information and referrals for help
