*Helps low-income families acquire modest homes built using volunteer labor *Applicants: must be able to provide 400 hours of sweat equity performing various jobs, lived in Leon or Gadsden Counties for one year or more, held same job or source of income for 6 months or more, have household income within income guidelines, must be willing to make a small cash down payment, be willing to live on a lot provided by Habitat for Humanity *Mortgages: 30 years, houses sold at cost (materials, purchased labor, and land), for no profit and no interest *By June 2023 United Way funding is expected to result in the acquisition of land for 2 small subdivisions with a total of 10-16 sites for homes

*Various programs for at-risk boys and girls, ages 0-18 *Common Sense Parenting Education: Open to the community, 6 week parent education class for parents/caregivers of children 18 or younger offering skills to address common behavior challenges *Boys Town National Hotline: 24/7 Crisis Counseling, primarily for parents/caretakers, as well as problem solving suggestions, parent education, and referrals to support services such as parenting classes and in home family services.
