Fundraising and Resource Development Support

Programs that help nonprofit organizations and other groups raise money to support their programs and services or raise money on behalf of other organizations as a service; help unincorporated organizations achieve fiscal sponsorship in order to obtain funding; and ensure that these organizations understand and comply with federal, state and local charitable solicitation regulations when they implement their fundraising plan.

Information Technology Management Support

Programs that help nonprofit organizations, small businesses and other groups (and, in some cases, individuals) evaluate their information technology needs, develop an information technology plan and obtain the hardware, software, telecommunication systems, Internet access, website development, network management, and maintenance and support services they require to support the mission and goals of their agency.

Legal Decision Making Support

Programs that help nonprofit organizations, small businesses or other groups understand the local, state and federal laws that relate to their organizations/businesses and the requirements they must meet to remain in compliance with these laws. These informational forums are not intended to be substitutes for formal legal counseling or representation. Nonprofit organizations, small businesses and other groups in need of support that relates to a specific issue are encouraged to seek legal counsel.

Professional Skills Development Support

Programs that offer workshops or other forms of training or support that help executive staff, managers, supervisors and line staff in nonprofit organizations, small businesses or other types of agencies or consultants who work with these organizations develop the skills they need to function more effectively in the workplace.
