Description:

*For-profit business that hires workers to fill positions on a daily basis: often yard work, construction clean-up, custodial services, recycling, etc; no skills required for most jobs; skilled positions: such as carpentry work also available sometimes
*Workers paid daily at least minimum hourly wage rate; per hour rates can vary according to job
*Interested individuals need to arrive at Action Labor by 6am in order to be eligible to work that day; earliest sign-ups have best chance of receiving an assignment
*Requirements to work are two forms of ID: preferably picture ID and Social Security card and a pair of sturdy work boots
*Homeless persons encouraged to apply; transportation to and from job generally provided after checking in at a cost of $5/day

Intake Process:

Show up at office at 6AM

Program Fees:

$5 a day if transportation is required to and from the job site
