*Services are in the event of a natural or man-made disaster; the disaster can be on a large level such as a hurricane, or on a smaller level such as a person(s) losing a home due to a fire *The following services are POSSIBLE, depending on need as well as funding availability: *Hot meals, water, and snacks served directly from The Salvation Army Canteen, bags of groceries and food items, pet food (when available), hygiene/clean up kits, clothing vouchers, case management, donation management, spiritual and emotional assistance, and emergency workers in the event of a disaster *Also on an as needed basis and based on availability: gas cards, bus tickets, furniture vouchers, household items *Family Tracing by Regional offices: In extreme disaster, The Family Tracing Service assists to restore and/or sustain family relationships by tracing relatives with whom contact has been lost, either recently or in the distant past

Secure the Call Foundation

*Charity of volunteers which accepts donated phones, repairs, and re-programs them for emergency-only 911 calls *Phones are then given to police departments, sheriff's offices, domestic violence shelters, neighborhood watch groups, and senior citizens centers which have applied for them and will distribute them for persons in need *Program is national; call to find closest drop-off site, or where to apply for a phone *For cities without a drop-off site, phones can be mailed *A free donor barrel can be sent to a host business, library, supermarket or other high traffic place for collection for four weeks, then returned in the same box it was sent in

Senior Citizens Council of Madison County

*Senior Center offers congregate meals (hot lunches) at two locations: the Senior Center in Madison and 166 SW Onslow St, Greenville 32331 (behind Greenville City Hall), home delivered meals, recreational and educational activities, homemaker service, personal care assistance, respite care, food pantry, transportation for medical purposes and to and from the center for activities, telephone support, environmental modification and housing repair, pest control, loan closet for medical supplies, Health & Wellness *Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP) will pay for home energy bills in a crisis (Over 60, low income, SRA approved, confirming letter from power company, or receive food stamps) *Additional in-home services include case management, screening and assessment, housekeeping, pest control, emergency alert response systems, home delivered meals, health prevention, chore information, telephone reassurance, companionship, nutritional education and more *Rescue Closet Program loans out equipment up to eight weeks, if the items is needed longer a request may be placed for an extension; Items based on availability and can include walkers, wheelchairs (manual and electric), tub seats, portable commodes, canes, transfer board and crutches free of charge to seniors

SHARE Cancer Support

*Provides support, information, education and advocacy for anyone affected by breast, ovarian, uterine, endometrial or metastatic breast cancers *Dial main number and choose correct option; helplines available in English and Spanish, translators available for other languages *Online educational courses via Zoom available by registering through the website

*Provides free sickle cell trait screenings *Counseling (by appointment) for persons with sickle cell disease and/or family or caretakers *Case management *Financial assistance for prescription medicines relating to sickle cell *Transportation to medical centers *Summer camps for children with sickle cell disease *Peer Support Group meetings held each month; call for times and locations
