TCC, Spark (Entrepreneurship)

*TCC Spark is a series of entrepreneurial workshops held monthly at TCC campus focuses on helping student and community member entrepreneurs gain the skills and connections needed to explore a business idea, start a business for the first time, or grow and expand *Workshop topics include new product/service development, target marketing, competition strategies, sales forecasting, expenses and financial statements *Each workshop costs $10 plus some additional fees; cholarships may be available through the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, phone: 850-577-0789 *Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program partners with TCC Spark to provide active duty service members and veterans with the skills to open and operate their own business; program is offered twice a year and will include mentorship and networking opportunities for veterans and those in active duty service membership interested in entrepreneurship

*Hotline staffed by transgender volunteers for transgender people experiencing a crisis, including people struggling with gender identity offering information on transition related health care or support groups in the area and able to assist with covering the costs for non-cisgender people to update the following documents: passport, driver’s license, state ID, court order name change, immigration documents, and tribal IDs when funding is available *Will call emergency services only with expressed consent *Family & Friends Line provides peer support for friends, partners, family members and professionals supporting trans loved ones and community members
