New Hope Intervention Programs

*Program designed specifically for domestic violence offenders offering batterer's intervention and anger management services *Offers Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP) for men and for women (separate groups); program consists of 26 weekly psycho-educational sessions, each 90 minutes in length; meetings are two halves, first half is an informational segment; second half, participants break into small therapy groups to discuss information presented and gain insight on a personal level as awareness of previous abusive patterns is developed; Other services: assessments and counseling for individuals, families, couples and victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, practice includes therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral *Therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Crisis Intervention, Narrative Therapy, as well as strengths based and problem-solving interventions; techniques used include art, music, writing, and talk therapy Fees are based on a sliding scale starting at $15 per session; plus an assessment fee of $60 for men, no assessment for women; Anger management programs include 5 one hour weekly meetings ($10 each), or a 1-day 5 hour workshop held one Saturday per month ($50); all fees are payable by cash or money order only on the day of class *Gadsden County groups held at a location in Quincy
